Are Frustrating Situations Getting the Best of You? Learn to Communicate with Diplomacy and Tact

Posted on October 4, 2012August 8, 2019 by dcadmin

It has been a very tough week. You spouse has not been well and the challenges of balancing both work and home are maxing you out as Friday approaches. You know you need to get the kids to day care early that morning because you can’t be late for the 8 a.m. meeting. It is the one you dread because the room is full of managers at 8, but the general manager is never there until 8:20. The agenda is never known and when the boss does show up, the discussion becomes a light diatribe about what everyone is doing wrong. It is a miserable 90 minutes.

You wonder why you did not stay home. You wish you could walk up to the boss after the meeting and ask why these meetings have to start so late and why they are always so negative. But you don’t. And you are very glad that the next Friday is seven days away.

Although people in organizations across Metro Detroit range from the very blunt to the very quiet, no one has the guts to approach the boss and share the shortcomings.

It is important to remember that your opinion, when presented as helpful and friendly, can actually build relationship and rapport.

In every situation, including this one, you can indeed make a difference. But how do you respond? How do you get your point across and do it with both diplomacy and tactfulness?

Dale Carnegie Training has teamed up with the Skyline Club to offer a one-day seminar to help you Communicate with Diplomacy and Tact. Put Thursday November 8th on your calendar because it could change that meeting forever.

Tony Robbins was quoted as saying “The quality of your life is in direct proportion to the quality of your relationships. The quality of your relationships is in direct proportion to the quality of your communication”.

To address this critical subject, Dale Carnegie is going to do a special workshop that provides an effective process establishing both focus and technique. The event takes place at the Skyline Club on Thursday, November 8th from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm. The cost of this event (a $200.00 value) is just $18.00 + tax and gratuity and lunch is included in the session. R.S.V.P. at the Skyline Club by calling: (248) 350-9898.

This is one event you can’t afford to miss! Reserve your spot today. Seats are going quickly.
Improve both your professional and personal life. Everyone can benefit from this session. Don’t
miss your opportunity. Register today! Your Fridays might improve because of it.
